Spicy Peanut Sauce
This can be used as a sauce or a dressing. Control the consistency with the amount of water added. More for thin dressing, less for a thick dressing.
Ingredients
3 tbsp organic creamy peanut butter
1/4 cup water
1 minced garlic clove
1/2 to1 fresh chili OR 2 1/4 tsp chili sauce
2 tbsp raw apple cider vinegar or rice vinegar
1 tbsp honey (some vegan omit honey but I eat it if it's local)
1 tbsp soy sauce OR 1/2 tsp sesame oil (I like to limit salt and soy so I use the sesame oil)
1 tbsp raw white sesame seeds (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro (optional)
In a small bowl, add peanut butter and water and whisk well. Add remaining ingredients and whisk again. Garnish for serving bowl with fresh sesame seed and cilantro.
